She runs from what she needs
She uses her fear to guide her
It’s easier that way

He knows who she is and what she stands for
But when he lost her, he lost his mind
It’s harder everyday

Did she fall apart before she met him?
She’s still in his heart either way
It’s safer for her there

She can’t take the pressure
She uses it as her excuse
It’s convenient like that

He knows that she’s a mess and why it happens
But without her, he can’t sleep
It’s colder everyday

She steals what she can then vanishes
She knows she can’t handle how much he cares
It was never meant to be
