How quickly things can change
One minute embraced and the next disgraced
It’s a shame when empty promises are made
But that’s nothing compared to death by heartbreak

It’s wrong to give false hope only to take it away
It’s foolish to pull the plug on the best part of your life
It’s cruel to turn your back on what really matters
Their true colors bleed through in the end
