ENDLESS STRUGGLE

It’s been a hard life with no end in sight
I don’t know where I belong, but I sure don’t belong here
I don’t know where I’m going
Don’t even know who I am anymore
All I want is some stability and happiness

Nothing ever seems to work out
I’m always left with my broken heart and shattered dreams in my hands
What’s left of me isn’t much, but I’ve got enough in the tank to carry on
I’ll bounce back only to be knocked down again
And one of these times, maybe I just won’t get up

But until such a time comes, this world is stuck with me like it or not
I’ve been called a lot of things
I’ve been through a lot of wars
I’m covered in scars and drowning in fear
But I’m still here and you’ll hear me loud and clear

I’d love to prove them all wrong and get back on top
But I’m stuck in this rut and can’t climb my way out
Won’t you lend me a hand and let me love you like you deserve?
