WHEELS

As I sit here writing on this paper
I hope she’s as committed as I am
And I pray she wants the same outcome that I do

First I try to convince myself
Then I over think everything
Until I finally exhaust my brain and just roll with it

So far the wheels keep turning
Ours and the ones in my mind
If she has other plans, she’s one hell of an actress

As I sit here wishing for this to be it
It’s Armageddon in my mind
All bets are off and the hounds have been unleashed
Take me for who I am or leave me here to die
